What is META-CARE® Selen?

Nutrient complex of selenium and barley grass powder rich in vital substances

Selenium is an indispensable component of numerous enzymes and proteins that cannot fulfil their tasks in the body without the trace element. One of the most important functions of selenium is to support the body’s own cellular defences. With a vegetarian or vegan diet, during pregnancy, physical stress and old age, there may be an increased need for selenium that cannot be adequately covered by the daily diet. In such cases, the additional intake of selenium as a food supplement can be useful.

META-CARE® Selen contains sodium selenate, which can be absorbed particularly quickly by the body. The formula is ideally complemented with high-quality barley grass powder.

Take 1 capsule daily in the morning, unchewed and with water.

Composition

Barley grass powder; capsule shell: hydroxypropylmethylcellulose; filler: microcrystalline cellulose; separating agents: magnesium salts from fatty acids, silicon dioxide; sodium selenate.

Free from animal protein, gluten and lactose.

Suitable for diabetics and people allergic to milk. This product is also safe for use during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.
